MCMG performers gave a recital of Christmas songs, with some solo piano pieces, bringing festive cheer to lunchtime diners at Tameside Hospital's Hartshead Restaurant.

Lara and Jeffrey, performers with MCMG, gave a concert of Christmas music at The Pavillion Café, Stamford Park. The concert was free to attend for Stalybridge folk as they enjoyed a seasonal coffee in the popular park café.

Manchester Royal Eye Hospital

Performers from MCMG gave a concert within the Royal Manchester Eye Hospital Atrium as part of Lime’s popular Lunchtime Concert Series. https://www.limeart.org/concert-series/

 

This gave hospital visitors, patients, and staff a chance to enjoy live chamber music featuring piano, voice and viola. Performing against the background buzz of a busy hospital is exciting and very different from more traditional concert settings – we hope our playing brought a bit of joy to those waiting to see the MREH eye specialists!
